To fully meet the nutritional requirements of fish, we give high priority to the quality and sustainability of raw materials we select, like the Antarctic Krill Meal from Aker BioMarine.
We build long-term relationships with our suppliers and always require the highest quality standards.

Our feed production is carried out across four distinct and separate production lines. We have invested tens of millions in our manufacturing process with state-of-the-art engineering technology, that differentiates us from local and global competition.

2008
Nea Artaki, Evia
Christos Gogorosis and Nikos Papaioannou join forces with a vision to establish a company that will produce top quality fish feeds and offer specialised advisory services.
Dr. Sotiris Papasolomontos, an experienced industry science specialist, joins the venture as Non-Executive Director.
2009
Production Plant Acquisition, Agrinio
Feed factory in Western Greece equipped with a twin-screw extruder reaches a 27,000 tons annual production capacity.
2010
Certified FOR ORGANIC AQUACULTURE
First certified company in Greece for the production of fish feeds appropriate for organic aquaculture.
2014
New Production Line
Construction of independent and separate production line equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Total annual production capacity exceeds 50,000 tons.
2015
Warehouse Construction, 2,000 sq.m
New warehouse increases storage capacity, ensures safe storage of raw materials and finished products.
2018
Production Plant Acquisition, Patras
New production plant increases total feed production capability exceeding 100,000 tons per year.
2020
Warehouse Acquisition, 8,000 sq.m
New warehouse in the Industrial Area of Patras, increases storage capacity and operates as distribution center both internally for raw materials and externally for finished products.
2021
INVESTMENT IN AQUATIC BIOLOGICALS
A spin-off company of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research. Aquatic Biologicals is a Marine Biotechnology Company devoted to the prevention of fish diseases in aquaculture. Irida acquired the majority of shareholding.
2022
Warehouse Acquisition
New warehouse increases total storage capacity to over 20,000 sq.m.
2023
VETCARE ACQUISITION
Irida acquires the majority of shareholding of Vetcare, an important company in Greek fish health management sector
2023
GALAXIDI ACQUISITION
Irida acquires the majority of shareholding of Galaxidi Marine Farm, one of the largest and most important Greek Aquaculture companies

- Strategically located next to Western Greece’s major transport. infrastructure, in short distance of ports of Astakos, Amfilochia and Vonitsa.
- Two independent production lines, equipped with twin-screw extruders from Clextral.
- Dedicated, state of the art production line for Medicated feeds.
- Warehouse capacity exceeding 7.000sqm.
Patras factory
- The newest built fishfeed production factory in Greece.
- Located in Industrial Area with easy access to major highways and port of Patras, the closest port of Greece to the West.
- Production capacity exceeding 50.000tns.
- Production line equipped with a large X-235 Wenger extruder.
- Warehouse capacity exceeding 13.000sqm.
